Bruno, originally from Bahia, now resides in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. His fascination with technology and remote work began at a young age. At the tender age of 16, he was already engaged in freelance programming projects for both local and international companies. Today, he takes great pride in the fact that he has learned more through hands-on trial and error than any formal course could ever teach him.
Bruno has been immersed in the programming field for a decade now, pursuing his passion while nurturing specific interests in related domains such as data science and web design. Throughout this time, he has gained valuable experience in both back-end and front-end technologies, constantly keeping up with the ever-evolving landscape of emerging technologies like Node.JS.
Bruno's interest also lies in the creation and development aspect of web applications, utilizing languages such as PHP and SQL (primarily leveraging the MySQL database engine). Over the years, he has been involved in several ambitious projects that are now widely used by thousands of South Africans. His foray into the iGaming world began with online poker, where he discovered a highly appealing niche to further hone his programming skills. In recent years, he has specialized in back-end development, making him the ideal candidate for the role of a back-end engineer at gambling-world.

Bruno's journey began with undertaking small projects for various remote companies, and as his skills grew, his talent in the field became evident. He participated in a range of projects, serving both as a front-end and back-end developer, until he gained enough experience and knowledge to determine his focus on back-end development. Since 2013, he has been exclusively working as a back-end developer, utilizing multiple languages such as PHP, Python, and Ruby.
With an ever-attentive approach to emerging technologies, he has spent years honing his craft, leveraging frameworks such as Laravel and Zend PHP. These powerful tools have not only streamlined his workflow, but also enhanced his ability to create innovative functionalities for web applications. Furthermore, his expertise extends to seamlessly integrating and extracting data from third-party platforms through the use of APIs.

Roles and responsibilities in South Africa's casinos
Since the project's inception, Bruno has been working alongside Michael and Kevin, taking charge of the platform's back-end. The back-end encompasses a fusion of technologies and codes that form the foundation of any website. Essentially, it serves as the site's brain, operating invisibly in the background without direct user interaction. However, its role is crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of all other components. Comprised of servers, applications, and databases, the back-end brings to life everything that the front-end developer crafts.
Bruno, therefore, took on the role of constructing the website's code from scratch and ensuring its smooth operation. Presently, he holds the sole responsibility for maintaining, testing, and enhancing the entire codebase of the website. Additionally, he is tasked with collaborating closely with Kevin, our UX/UI designer, to gain a comprehensive understanding of user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
